Crafting Success: An Insightful Conversation on the Dynamics of Project Triumphs

Navigating the Intersection of Design and Business: Unveiling the Keys to Project Success with EVIJA ĶIRSONE-SLAVINSKA.

The feelings of this month are shaped by the sudden onset of summer, a sense of a new beginning, new possibilities. New projects, new unforgettable experiences. Each new project is a fresh start for adventure and creative exploration, and each completed project is a new beginning for the client.
What makes a successful project?

If we talk about public spaces, then design is a part of a successful project, but its role should not be overstated. Because design is just one component of all other business elements. For a project to be successful, the architect and designer must think broadly, delve into the business idea of the project, perceive it as a priority, and prioritize the success of the project. Then the design will naturally align with the business idea and complement it.

In private spaces, it's different. It should be a pleasant space for the owner. If it serves comfortably, ergonomically, and harmoniously in terms of feelings, then it is successful.

The interaction of interior design with other areas.

Interior design is multifaceted and versatile. To create good interior design, one must refer to both the surrounding environment and architecture. Interior design is closely related to carpentry, construction, the world of light, furniture design, glass art, and many other craft industries. Only by mastering these industries and interacting with them does good design emerge.

The most beloved stage of a project?

In general, I like all stages of a project, but the favorite is the so-called "dust" stage. When it is being dismantled and built. When builders are busy, when you see how the visualization, the fruit of your imagination, is being realized on a large scale and becomes tangible. In this construction stage, there is often tension, problem-solving on the construction site generates adrenaline, and the end result is crowned with a beautiful, aesthetic result, which is like a thank-you for the "sprint" that has been completed.
