"Café 'Kase' Interior

20th-century design values with creative contemporary elements

KASE Café at Dailes Theatre: Where Timeless Elegance Meets Contemporary Comfort.

The café "KASE" at the Dailes Theatre is another excellent achievement by the "Kirson Design Group" in the field of interior design, where the office incorporates creative contemporary elements, reflecting both historical context and modern trends. This project provides inspiration by combining 20th-century design values with innovative solutions.
Evija Ķirsone–Slavinska, the leading designer at "Kirson Design," explains: The design of "KASE" is a successful interplay between the past and the present, creating a blend with a visual and emotional connection to historical context while embodying a light and modern atmosphere. It is a thoughtful balance between reverence for the Dailes Theatre heritage and a vibrant, modern aesthetic.

One of the remarkable features is the preserved original natural stone floor covering and the newly created oak veneer characteristic of the modernist era, which harmoniously interacts within the interior. Modern elements are complemented by a grid motif flowing throughout the space, innovative lighting, the use of plastic curtains, and the central object - an illuminated table with show titles, quotes, and stage world phrases.

"KASE" not only enhances the historical atmosphere of the Dailes Theatre but also offers an attractive space for anyone interested. Located at Brīvības iela 75, Riga, within the Dailes Theatre premises, the café is accessible not only to theatergoers but also to anyone who wants to enjoy a special and unique design experience. "KASE" is not just a café but a design journey through time and creativity, providing a charming atmosphere and aesthetic pleasure to every customer.

The office "Kirson Design Group," led by interior architect and chief designer Evija Ķirsones–Slavinska, has gained significant experience in creating not only theater café interiors but also other significant projects, such as the restaurant reconstruction "Koya," "Herbārijs," and the food market "Burzma" at the shopping center "Galerija Centrs."
